For the purpose of the Terms of Letting, Glangwili Mansion shall mean the owners of Glangwili Mansion, George and Linda Reid and Visitor shall mean the person named on the booking form.

Deposit:
A booking for a room is guaranteed when a deposit equivalent to the first night’s stay (per room) is charged on the day of booking by credit or debit card.

Final Payment:
The full balance of the total holiday cost becomes liable 1 day before arrival as per our cancellation policy. Cash or credit/debit cards are accepted. We no longer accept cheques or American Express.

Cancellation:
We are a small business, so cancellations can have a big impact on us, especially as we may have turned away bookings in favour of someone who has already booked, who then cancels.

In the event of any cancellation we will always endeavour to re-let the room if the booking is made directly with us rather than an external booking channel.

  1. IF A GUEST DECIDES TO CANCEL FOR PERSONAL REASONS

For cancellations more than 10 days ahead of the booking:

We will refund the deposit, minus an admin charge of £10 per room.

For cancellations between 10 and 3 days (72 hours) ahead of the booking.

We will retain the deposit, equivalent to the first night’s stay (per room). However if we can re-let the room, we will refund the deposit minus an admin fee of £25.

If the cancellation occurs 3 days (72 hours) or less prior to the booking:

The guest will be liable for the full booking cost.

Any non-arrival or a reduction in the number of nights stayed will mean that the guest will be liable for the cost of the booking in full.

We take all bookings in good faith. As we are unable to judge reasons for change, cancellation or non-arrival, guests are reminded that no exceptions to the above conditions will be made and any booking made with Glangwili Mansion forms a legally binding contract.

Bridal House Package

A non refundable £250 deposit will be required to secure the booking and the full amount will be due 3 weeks before the check in date. After this date, we will no longer be able to refund the full cost.

FOR THIS REASON, WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU TAKE OUT SUITABLE INSURANCE TO COVER AGAINST UNEXPECTED COSTS SUCH AS CANCELLATION FEES.

2. IF WE HAVE TO CANCEL BECAUSE OF PERSONAL REASONS OR A GOVERNMENT DIRECTIVE i.e. LOCKDOWN

If we are unable to fulfil our contract with you because of localised lockdown rules, then a full refund will be given.

If a guest feels unwell while they are staying with us and suspect they have COVID19, they should return home immediately and inform the owners of Glangwili Mansion..

Visitor Accommodation Limitation:
Accommodation is limited to two persons per room apart from the Copper Beech Suite which can accommodate three people. Please be aware that our policy states that we cannot accommodate children under 12 years old.

Joint bookings:
Where two parties join forces to take a holiday, the booking should be made in one name only. That person (the visitor) is to be responsible for all payments and any damage.

Personal injury and loss of visitor property:
The visitor or members of his/her party cannot hold Glangwili Mansion responsible for injury sustained or the loss or damage to any belongings during their stay.

Visitor Obligations:
The visitor understands to keep the premises and all the furniture, fixtures and effects in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the booking period (reasonable wear and tear excepted) and shall pay to Glangwili Mansion the replacement value of any part of the premises, furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects so destroyed or damaged if the item/items cannot be restored to its previous condition. Breakages and damage should be reported as soon as possible.

Should there be any discrepancy in the service provided within the property, this should be intimated immediately to Glangwili Mansion whereupon Glangwili Mansion will attempt to broker a satisfactory outcome.

Glangwili Mansion is however not responsible or liable for a perceived substandard of service. All claims in this respect should be made in writing to the Owners and you are bound by their terms and conditions as stipulated in this document when staying in their property.

Property Cleanliness:
The visitor and members of his/her party are asked to leave the accommodation clean and tidy. Glangwili Mansion reserve the right to make a charge for extra cleaning if the accommodation is not left in a satisfactory condition e.g. smoking in the non-smoking rooms or any damage that means we need to temporarily close the room to future guests.

We will then send you a booking confirmation and receipt by e-mail.

Access to the property will be available from 4pm to 7pm on the first day of your holiday and until 11.00am on the day of departure. A later check-in time may be possible with prior notice. Unfortunately, because of extra cleaning time needed for Covid19 protocols, we can no longer offer an earlier check in time or later check out time.
